Can I explore Machu Picchu town on my own during my free time?

Absolutely! After the guided tour, you have free time to explore Machu Picchu town on your own or visit the hot pools in the town.

What time is the sunrise visit at Machu Picchu?

How do I get back to Cusco on the second day?

After exploring Machu Picchu and having lunch, we take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our driver will be waiting to transport you back to Cusco.

When is the best time to enjoy the sunrise at Machu Picchu?

Late April to September is considered the best month to enjoy the sunrise at Machu Picchu and the sunset where you will have clear sky weather.

Is Machu Picchu better at sunrise or sunset?

both times are unique for the sunrise you need to be one of the first to enter Machu Picchu and you can get photos of Machu Picchu without people or few people but you will have less time so you need to be quick walking to the upper part and taking the photos.

I could say that sunset is better you have to have one of the last tickets to get to Machu Picchu and stay until the last moment the later the fewer people are in Machu Picchu so you can have Machu Picchu for yourself with no rush.
