Overview

The Ausangate 4 four-day tour is located in the mountain with the same name Ausangate (Wasanqati in Quechua) is the fifth-highest mountain in Peru, with an altitude of 6,372 meters above sea level. It is located about 100 kilometers southeast of the city of Cusco.

in this Ausangate 4 days trek, you can easily see llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas in their natural habitat, as well as local people who still keep their tradition with typical clothes and speak Quechua, believing even in the Andean gods (the APUS, mountain spirits). The trek requires you to walk for 6 to 8 hours each day, so it is recommended to prepare well in advance to avoid feeling fatigued because of the altitude in the Ausangate trek.

On the last day, we will arrive at the famous Vinicunca (Winicunca) rainbow mountain Peru Ausangate is the representative mountain of the Andean people. It is situated in the Vilcanota mountain range with large lagoons with bright green/blue colors.

DAY 01 Cusco| Tinqui- Upis – Camp

Day 02 Upis| Arapa Pass – Puca Ccocha camp
